Breakfast potatoes with Sausage

Breakfast potatoes and sausages are one of my favorite ways to start the day. The aroma of perfectly fried potatoes mixed with biting sausage pieces serves as the basis for this light morning vision that will make your mouth watery.

I like simple breakfast ideas. The last thing I want to do in the morning is to spend many hours cooking a great breakfast. Making these potatoes and sausages is not the same as frying an egg, but the little effort you need is worth it.

This recipe is perfect to serve if you have a breakfast company. You can prepare everything the night before (boil the potatoes, chop the sausage, add the spices), and then in the morning just toss everything together and let the potatoes bake as you prepare the eggs and coffee - a simple peasy!

Reducing leftover food is always a good idea, so if you have extra potatoes from the evening just use them the next morning instead of cooking a new set. This makes breakfast easier and faster too! We do this while relaxing with the family at the beach or in Sunriver, Oregon These are the perfect breakfast cereals for a perfect breakfast - strong without stress and will keep you full of the right combination of energy-producing and saturated carbs.

Best of all, this recipe is Instant Pot breakfast. I always find new ways to use a high-quality cooker pressure cooker, and I'm happy to say that this is really good. If you've never used one before, you may be wondering what's the big deal with this pressure cooker. There are a lot of clean features, but the thing I like about recipes like this Instant Pot breakfast is that instead of standing on the stove, you can just upload an IP and let it cook for you - completely hands-free!

This Pot Instant breakfast will greatly reduce how long it takes to make potatoes. They will have an exterior glow while also making sure there is no green center. Heating the sliced potatoes in a pressure cooker before baking will bring the perfect combination of light exterior and creamy interior.

You can also boil the potatoes and store them in the fridge until ready to toss them on the baking sheet to cool, before serving breakfast.

Tips To Make This Sausage And Potato Recipe in 2020

Be sure to use a steam basket. Some of the newer versions of Instant Pot come with a steam basket, or you can buy one separately. It is important to have a basket of this sausage and potato recipe otherwise, the potatoes will not cook evenly. The bottom touches will be mushy, while the top will not be cooked.

Don't overeat potatoes: If you overcook potatoes while in the Fast Pot, they will drop as you move them from the steam basket to the baking board. About 8-9 minutes on IP is all you need.

Season potatoes well: That's where most of your flavor comes from in this recipe with potatoes, so it's very important!

Choose your favorite sausage. You can use any link sausage you like. Just make sure you cut the meat into equal pieces. Kielbasa, the sausage for breakfast, andouille, and the like will work wonderfully here.

Try add-ons. One of the great things about this simple breakfast recipe is that you can customize it with add-ins. Some of my favorites include cubed bell pepper, chopped onions, and mushrooms.

One thing that makes this recipe stand out from the rest is the breakfast potato drink. You may be surprised, but the potato soup for this recipe is not easy. It is made with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

However, the secret here is to make well-cooked potatoes for your sausage. This will allow that natural frying from the meat to mix with the morning potato spice for extra flavor.
